Kristin Zaitz is mother to Oliver, 6, and Kate, 3. She is a civil engineer and project manager specializing in seismic analysis and design at Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant in San Luis Obispo, and is co-founder of Mothers for Nuclear Power.
Eric is an uncle to Sofia 4, and Samir 2. He grew up in the rural southwest Minnesota, a place often jokingly referred to as the "Saudi Arabia of Wind." Seeing turbines as far as the eye can see in this direction piqued his interest in energy and climate change and led him to pursue a Masters Degree in Advocacy and Political Leadership. Over the last few years he's worked as a community and union organizer, and advocated for more nuclear energy in his spare time. He couldn't be more excited to finally be working in his true passion-- fighting climate change.
Heather Matteson is mother to Zoe, 6, a reactor operator and procedure writer at Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant in San Luis Obispo, and co-founder of Mothers for Nuclear Power.
Sarah is God-mother to Saleen, 6 and loving "aunt" to Clark, 0. She is a Site Risk Management Engineer at R.E. Ginna nuclear power plant and recently worked for Entergy's James A FitzPatrick as their In-Service Inspection Program Owner. When she isn't at the plant, she follows her passion as an international landscape photographer and travel writer--preserving disappearing natural wonders with her lens.
